As the global leader in luxury skincare, La Prairie evokes a purity of vision, service and Swiss precision whose excellence extends to every touch point. As a long standing creative partner, CircleSquare have been delivering a range of initiatives for the brand across digital and physical, executed to the highest possible standards, for over 10 years - and this project is no exception.

As part of an innovative blockchain strategy for the Swiss beauty icon, we pushed the boundaries of art and technology to deliver the first digital collectible (NFT) in travel retail; creating a series of unique dynamic artworks inspired by the ‘Dance of Light and Water’ by Wen-Chi Su.

La Prairie is also the first luxury brand and the first skincare brand to launch its NFT series on the WenChang Chain, one of the first open blockchain platforms launched on Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN), an ecosystem fully compliant with all Chinese regulations linked to digital collectibles.

To complete the customer journey, we developed an innovative digital reward that supported the brands environmental commitments. Following a skin consultation and purchase, customers registered for a carbon offset program, receiving a digital certificate in partnership with Climeworks, a Swiss environmental organization.

Through the prism of art and science, this project is the embodiment of how the brand innovates with new technologies to build deeper connections with their clients in travel retail and beyond.
