Judien Wang’s appointment is the latest strand in CircleSquare’s ambitious digital strategy, which last year saw it acquire a significant stake in Swiss data-driven digital marketing agency comtogether and the more recent creation of an in-house ‘content factory’. 
Wang’s most recent role was at Weber Shandwick in Hong Kong, where his responsibilities included digital strategy, technical consultancy and project management. Earlier roles included a spell as a digital producer at the Hong Kong office of Ogilvy & Mather and as an analyst for Nielsen, based in Guangzhou, China.

Wang will be based in CircleSquare’s Hong Kong office and will offer wide-ranging digital expertise, applying it in business areas such as the company’s recently-introduced Connected Shopper Platform, a travel retail-focused digital tool which transforms a brand’s ability to reach consumers at all virtual and digital points of their shopper journey, gather data along the way and boosts travel retail’s ability to become a recruitment tool for local markets.
CircleSquare managing partner Stephane Zermatten said: “We wanted to employ someone from outside the travel retail industry to bring a fresh perspective to our digital efforts and Judien’s experience fits the bill perfectly.
